This essence comes from the one of the largest and most enduring trees in our forest - the Enduring Elm. Because of its longevity and height, it was thought to be reaching out to the Heavens and had deep wisdom within. It was known as the "Mourner's Tree" and it was to this tree that people first turned when they lost someone they loved.

Enduring Elm essence is used for the shock and the first stages of death and parting; a mourning essence that helps deal with the despair that comes with the news of a death which can send a person into stasis or madness, or total lack of function.
